MBBS

Full form of MBBS is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor or Surgery. It is a 5 years and 6 moths course. Out of this duration 4 years and 6 months are used to provide theoretical knowledge and remaining 1 year is utilised for the practical internship. Only after completing internship a student is provided with a MBBS degree after which he/she can practice medicine in any part of India. Any 12th pass student with science stream having Physics, Chemistry and Biology as his subject can  apply for it.

MBBS Entrance Examinations

The only entrance exam in India through which a student can get admission in any mbbs college is NEET-UG (National Entrance cum Eligibility Test). This test is of 720 marks and the minimum cut off marks varies every year. Minimum cut off mark is the mark which a student must have to apply for admission in any mbbs college in India.
