Xiamen meidcal university

Xiamen university, founded in 1921 by Tan Kahkee, the well-known patriotic overseas Chinese leader, as the first university in China founded by an overseas Chinese. Xiamen university is a key comprehensive university directly affiliated to the ministry of education of China, and ranked in the top 6th of the over 2000 universities and colleges in China. Xiamen university is a first-class, comprehensive university with extensive international influence. The university lies between the foot of green hills and the blue sea, with its campus on either side of Xiamen bay. Xiamen university is proud of its reputation as having the most beautiful university campuses in China, even in Asia. The university has a strong team of academic and administrative staff, making its possible to provide a full range of educational programmes. The Xiamen university covers 25 schools or colleges consisting of 64 departments, together with 10 research institutes and centers. The university offers 82 undergraduate programmes, 279 graduate programmes, and 185 Phd programmes. The university has first-class staff including over 2,475 full-time academic and research staff, of whom 22 are academicians of China.

Taishan medical university

Taishan Medical University(TSMU) was founded in 1974, stemming from medical school of Huamei hospital founded in 1891 by missionary physicians from the American Christian Presbyterian church. The campus is located at the foot of Mt. Taishan, Tai’an, Shandong, provincial capital Jinan to the north and Qufu ( hometown of Confucius) to the south. Transportation of Tai’an is international airport in Jinan, and two or three hours to Beijing or Shanghai by taking the high speed railway.
Taishan Medical University covers an area of 200 hectares with a building area of 780,000 square meters. Fixed assets are worth 10 Billion yuan, including teaching, science and research equipment. 2,560,000 books are stored in the school library including 1,170,000 e-books. The university has one affiliated hospitals, 11 non-direct affiliated hospitals and more then 230 practice and internship bases.

Binzhou medical university

Binzhou Medical University is a common medical university at provincial level in Shandong province, and its predecessor was the public medical school of Shandong university originally established in 1946. The university has more than 16,500 full- time students and 962 staffs which include 61 full-time teachers, 109 professors and 213 associate professors. There are four academicians working in the university, nine experts (professors) with ” Taishan scholar” entitlement. The university has 11 schools (faculties), 26 undergraduate majors, 4 characteristics subject construction units of higher education at the level of ministry of education, and eight characteristics subjects at provincial level.

Guizhou medical university

Guizhou Medical University (GMU) founded in 1983, then national guizhou medical college was the first batch of universities in China to be approved by the ministry of education to grant master degree in 1981 and one of the two universities to grant doctoral degrees in Guizhou in 2003. GMU was evaluated as one of the three provincial key universities in 2005. Later GMU has established post-doctoral degree granting organization.
After 75 years of providing education in clinical medicine, pharmacy, medical laboratory science, preventive medicine and nursing, GMU holds 18 teaching units, 13 schools, 1 division and 4 departments. GNU currently hosts 1 doctoral program covering 7 sub-majors, 1 postdoctoral research institute, 53 master programs, and 33 undergraduate programs. GMU supervises over 5 affiliated hospitals, 7 collaborating hospitals, 1 collaborating clinic medicine school, 23 teaching hospitals and 15 training hospitals.

Harbin medical university

Harbin Medical University (HMU) is located in Harbin, a beautiful city well-known for ice and snow and reputed as “Eastern Paris”. HMU has a scenic view on the campus dotted with ancient-style buildings, with a total area of 2.36 million square meters. HMU aims to become a teaching and research oriented medical school which is first-grade in China and well-known in the world.
