Kazakh national medical university is a university in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is the no.1 medical university in all of Kazakhstan. Many of Kazakhstan’s leading physicians are affiliated with the university. It is dedicated to S.D. Asfendiyarov who was the first rector when the university was established in 1931. In 2001, the government classified it as a “national” university.  There are more then 12000 student, Phd students study at Kazakhnmu, and there are more then 1700 faculty member working at Kazakhnmu, including more than 250 doctors of science,140 professors, more then 600 candidates of science and 15 laureates of state prizes. University has its own seven multistory hostel. These hostels has space for more than 2500 students, 24 hrs wi-fi internet access, 24hrs electricity supply.
